The current print is from a posthumous edition, using the original woodblocks. The measurements of the image itself (excluding the margins) are 32.3 x 21.7 cm. Fu Takenaka (1945-2022) had already had a successful career as an interior and fashion designer before she started printmaking in 2003. Building upon her artistic experience with colorful textiles, she developed a unique style and became a successful woodblock artist.
