Ice lolly sculpture for wall – NEON ORANGE – by Italian artist “KIRAS,” a pop art artist with international sales. The sculpture is made in bioplastic using 3D technology; bioplastic is a plant-based material such as sugarcane, therefore totally natural and environmentally friendly. The work is entirely handcrafted to achieve a glossy, smooth final effect, a meticulous, fully manual process of polishing, stuccating, and varnishing that allows for a perfect piece even when based on simple materials; the stick is also made of bioplastic mixed with real wood. The ice lolly is coated with NEON ORANGE acrylic paint and a transparent protective varnish. Kiras’ philosophy is to create works with simple materials that are as environmentally friendly as possible, without sacrificing the strong aesthetic impact the piece must have to better convey its message. The question that the viewer might ask is… ceramic? No, it’s bioplastic! but the aesthetic result you’ll have will be the same… ;-) A long manual process entirely carried out by the artist also sets a second guideline… the production of extremely limited editions. Kiras’ works are created by the artist who not only signs them but closely oversees the entire process… thus it is a prerogative to produce series of only a few dozen pieces, the only way to guarantee that it is truly the artist who created them… and buyers will have the certainty of owning a nearly one-of-a-kind piece in their home… a few dozen sold worldwide, a unique piece in your home! In this case the edition is only 20 units per color. Dimensions are approximately 23x9x3.5 cm. Design piece MADE IN ITALY in a clear POP style! “KIRAS” exhibits in several art galleries in Italy and abroad and shows his works at contemporary art fairs such as ART3F, ARTEPADOVA, ARTPARMA fair and others… Artwork signed and numbered, supplied with certificate of authenticity and artist-branded box. The work is conceived and crafted by the artist with manual and artisanal workmanship; possible small imperfections are due to the manual process but do not affect the final result. Indoor piece, do not expose to excessive heat, clean only with a cotton cloth and no detergents to preserve the piece’s luster.
