This hand-knotted designer rug with a traditional Kazak pattern captivates with its expressive geometric ornament and its harmoniously coordinated color scheme. The combination of classic Caucasian-inspired motifs and a modern color interpretation gives this rug a lively yet timeless presence. The field is dominated by five large geometric medallions arranged one above the other. They showcase different color combinations and artfully graded diamond and star motifs. Small stylized flowers, geometric symbols, and decorative single ornaments complete the pattern and contribute to a varied overall image. Particularly characteristic is the elaborate, multi- tiered border. It consists of geometric ornamental bands, stylized flowers, and traditional symbol forms. The bold outlines and the symmetrical arrangement give the rug a clear structure and emphasize its classic Kazak character. The color palette is defined by a muted green with sage and petrol nuances. Lively accents in rust red, terracotta, turquoise, light blue, golden yellow, cream, and navy create appealing contrasts. The subtly heathered effect of the color results in a warm, naturally vintage-looking finish. The hand-knotted craftsmanship underscores the traditional character of this designer rug. The interplay of detailed ornaments, harmonious colors, and classic pattern design makes it a decorative focal point.
