He began painting in 2014 and participated in his first exhibitions. In 2015 followed his first solo exhibition. Since then he continuously develops his technique. Several exhibitions and workshops have followed to this day. Jürgen Angeler places particular emphasis on Informal Painting, a form of modern art that emerged in the 1940s/1950s. The mix of spontaneity (impulse) and chance (drip painting, squeegee effect) plays a decisive role in this process. At the end of the creative process is a finished painting that expresses the tension built up during creation. Jürgen Angeler looks back on successful exhibitions in Germany, Italy, and Austria. His paintings are in collections in several European countries, the USA, Hong Kong, and Japan. Selected Exhibitions: - Participation with two paintings at "cosmo GRAFIX" in Rome, Italy. Curated by Eva Czerkl - Involvement in the Elledorado Art Charity at the Schwules Museum, Berlin (patron: Claudia Roth, Vice President of the Bundestag) - Solo exhibition "Made in Germany" at Kulturei Mainz (Citadel), Germany
