Bonaventure edition with characteristic faults as indicated in Jauzac page 167. V capitalized in the engraving caption on page 45, as well as the chapter numbering error on page 201, LIIX instead of XLII. In the first and second series there are customized bindings of the edition with the first fault corrected and still bearing the second fault, but this is almost never the very first printing. Known to exist in only a few, rare copies! Green half-basane binding. Good condition, rubbing wear, foxing.
