Jules Steiner - Doll A17 - 1850-1900 - France

An antique and original J. Steiner doll, with a porcelain (biscuit) head, glass eyes, a composite body and limbs. Equipped with a label “Medaille d’Or” on the left thigh (see photos). Marked in the porcelain head (back): J. Steiner Bte SGDG Paris Fre A 17 Ca. 1890. Length: 62 cm. Equipped with multiple layers of cotton undergarments, an antique silk dress (possibly original) and leather shoes. Condition: the doll is in good condition, the body is original. The head has a hairline on the left side, but it is not disruptive (see photos). The old silk dress has damage but is probably original. This doll will be carefully packed and shipped insured.
