José Antonio Serna Ramos. Abstract composition. Spanish School. 20th

Descriptio Ink and mixed media on paper. Measures 44 x 32 cm. A work of gestural language and free-flowing brushstrokes in which José Antonio Serna Ramos combines patches of color—blues, ochres, and blacks—with pictorial calligraphy that suggests movement and rhythm. The composition is organized around a fluid dynamism, where the black lines articulate a space of energy and lyricism. The use of color as an emotional element recalls European Informalism of the second half of the 20th century. Signed and dated in the lower right corner. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist. You may request additional information before placing a bid. This does not affect the buyer’s statutory rights.
