Jesús Fernández - CANIS

THE WORK -CANIS (2026). Mixed media on panel. 100x100x4 cm. -CANIS belongs to the series Tratados, a pictorial investigation in which the figure becomes an object of study. The wolf's head, constructed through geometric planes and projections, emerges from a space where gestural painting, technical drawing, and abstraction coexist. More than representing an animal, the work explores the process of building an image, establishing a dialogue between the precision of geometry and the freedom of the pictorial matter, where the visual language prevails over the represented subject. - Hand-signed by the artist on the back and on the painting. - Unique edition. - Piece from a new collection. - The work is shipped unmounted.
