He was a famous kimono fashion designer. When he was 50 years old, he decided to follow his real passion, and became a traditional Kyoto woodblock artist. Success remained with the artist. After a gallery exhibition in New York and a book publication of his works titled "Kyoto Romance" he is as famous as a woodblock artist as he used to be as a kimono designer. This item is as new. Top condition and vibrant colors! Directly from the publisher Unsodo, never been framed, never been rolled up and kept in professional condition. Size : 425 x 215 mm Full paper size: 455 x 250 mm Signed - Lower right in the margin with red artist seal The lot contains 1 item. Large work, narrow alley, towards purple paper umbrella. In the last photo you see two prints. This is just to show how much bigger it is, than the "regular" size, you might know. The smaller print is NOT part of this lot.
