Exceptional autograph letter signed by Jacques Mesrine, nicknamed « l'Ennemi public n°1 », written from his cell at the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul penitentiary, located in Laval, Quebec, on August 13, 1972, in blue ink on two sheets of onion-skin parchment with lines. In this letter addressed to Jeanne Schneider, Jacques Mesrine mentions the miserable weather, his rare outings limited to medical checkups, and expresses his impatience to see her in the visiting room while encouraging her to keep hope for her own release.
