The lot of 47 views consists of views and 2 topographic plans focused mainly on the city of Palermo, with some splendid views of Siracusa, of the island's archaeological complexes, and of the Aeolian Islands. Within the lot there are several duplicates (identical sheets) dimensions vary depending on the engraving • sheets are intact and retain their original editorial margins. • Signs of aging: slight and widespread foxing spots are noted (staining of the paper due to natural oxidation over time) that do not compromise the beauty of the central drawing. • Minor defects: presence of small nicks or creases from use on the outer margins of the sheets
