Italian school (XIX) - Grappoli di uva

Interesting painting in good condition from the early years of the 1900s. The frame is original to the period. The painting depicts a still life with clusters of grapes and tendrils, a theme very common in decorative and academic painting between the 19th and 20th centuries. • Subject: Light and dark grape clusters intertwined with vine leaves (tendrils). • Style: Oil on canvas with a taste of the late 19th century or early 20th century, similar in style and composition to the works of artists such as Elisa Brunelleschi (author of works like Grappoli d'uva e pampini of 1911) or to still life painters of the era. • Frame: Contemporary gold frame or in period style.
