Italian - Monaci Francescani - Antifonario

Bifoglio (2 pages) extracted from an antique antiphonary printed in Venice in 1600. The page presented here features numerous initials rubricated in red ink and other illuminated ones. Priceless is the large engraving (34 x 23 cm) depicting a scene of the Annunciation. Sheet size 54 x 41 cm. Overall condition mediocre with occasional stains, minimal creases, small tears to the lower border with a marginal restoration intervention.
