Imperial Topaz – Sharp terminated gem crystal –...

Outstanding Imperial Topaz crystal from the legendary deposits of Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Brazil – the world’s most famous and historic source of fine imperial topaz. This specimen features a beautifully developed prismatic crystal with a sharp, complete termination and an attractive honey-gold to deep golden coloration, the classic and most desirable tone for imperial topaz. The crystal shows excellent vitreous luster and very good transparency, glowing warmly under natural light. The proportions, elegant shape and aesthetic balance make it a highly displayable miniature. Internal features are completely natural and typical of untreated topaz, confirming authenticity and adding character. Well-terminated crystals from this classic locality are increasingly difficult to obtain, especially pieces with such pleasing color and crystal definition. A fine collector’s specimen and a timeless addition to any serious mineral or gem collection. Locality: Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Brazil Dimensions: 33 × 10 × 7 mm Weight: 4,48 g Condition: complete crystal, sharp termination, natural internal inclusions, no repairs or treatments A rare opportunity to acquire a classic Brazilian imperial topaz from a historic locality.
