IL PADRINO (1972) - Michael e Don Vito Corleone con stile...

If Roy Lichtenstein had gone to the movies to see The Godfather, he would have transformed the Corleone family into a giant comic book made of halftones, explosive colors, and threats inside speech bubbles. Don Vito would become the absolute king of Pop Art: elegant, immobile, and menacing... while guns, black cars, and memorable phrases seem ready to go BANG! Coppola gives him power. Lichtenstein puts the dots on him. August 2026 - 50x40 - 5 copies + 2 artist's proofs.
