An iconic ceiling lamp from IKEA from the 1990s with 2 light points. This ceiling lamp is part of the IKEA Stoja series and the design is influenced by the Memphis Milano movement of Ettore Sottsass. The Stoja series first appeared in 1990, but this specific ceiling lamp made its debut in the IKEA catalog of 1991. The lamp consists of a metal bottom with a plastic shade that is clamped between 3 wooden elements in the primary colors red, yellow and blue. The bright color combination ensures that the lamp is a striking decorative object even during the day. Thanks to the minimalist design, the lamp fits nicely in a Memphis, postmodern, retro, or Scandinavian interior. The fixture is equipped with a standard E27 socket (max 2x60 watts) and is therefore suitable for LED, PL compact fluorescent, or incandescent bulbs. Condition: in good vintage condition.
