Icon - Five saints - Wood, Brass

Old Russian icon with brass oklad – late 19th / early 20th century Ancient Orthodox Russian icon painted in tempera on wooden panel, with an oklad/riza in embossed metal decorated with floral and geometric motifs. The work presents a religious composition with Christ in the upper part and figures of saints or apostles in the central scene.
