Ice bucket - Plastic - Hans Turnwald 1970s

Vintage Design Rare Freddotherm apple-shaped ice bucket, designed by Hans Turnwald in Switzerland in the 1970s. An instantly recognizable silhouette, typical of 1970s bar design, here enhanced by a spectacular gold finish. The lid echoes the shape of the fruit, lending the piece its characteristic sculptural dimension. Made of molded plastic with an insulating lining, this bucket perfectly illustrates the Hollywood Regency taste for bar accessories that are functional, sculptural, and undeniably glamorous. The Freddotherm / Swiss Patent International marking identifies and authenticates the model.
