Hutschenreuther - Heinrich Fuchs - Vase (3) - Calabash - Biscuit porcelain

Dear Bidders, I'm offering here a three sculptural white porcelain vases by Hutschenreuther, designed by Heinrich Fuchs, under the name "Calabash", from his iconic Archais series. Their geometric, rhythmic relief and bold forms reflect the Mid-Century Modern style, with an Op Art influence. SOME GENERAL INFORMATIONS: Hutschenreuther, gegründet 1814 in Bayern, gehört zu Deutschlands angesehensten Porzellanfabrikanten und ist bekannt für hochwertige Handwerkskunst und zeitloses Design. Über fast zwei Jahrhunderte entwickelte sich Hutschenreuther zu einer gut etablierten Marke, bekannt für feines Geschirr, dekoratives Porzellan und Sammlerstücke. Am 1. August 2000 wurde die Hutschenreuther “Löwenmarke” in die Rosenthal Gruppe eingegliedert, wodurch zwei der historischen Porzellan-Namen Nordbayerns zusammengeführt wurden und Rosenthal eine Führungsposition im Bereich hochwertiges Porzellan stärkte. Heinrich Fuchs (1928–2013) was a German designer best known for his experimental porcelain and ceramic works created during the post-war modernist period. His designs combined geometric precision with organic inspiration, often featuring deeply textured, ribbed or architectural surfaces. Fuchs became especially recognized for his “Calabash” and “Archais” series, which explored light, shadow and optical rhythm through sculptural relief patterns. His work is closely associated with German Brutalism, Op Art and Mid-Century Modern design. Today, his ceramics are considered highly collectible examples of innovative German studio porcelain from the 1960s and 1970s. According to EU law for courier companies, in any case of damage to an international shipment, the first step in obtaining compensation is for the RECIPIENT to report the damage to their local supplier within 7 days of receiving the shipment. In addition, the following photos will be required: the damage to the item, the outside of the box with the shipping label, and the inside of the box including the materials used to protect the shipment.
