Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation, $1, partially hand written date 31.12.1888, serial number 658202, grey and red-orange underprint $1 and Chinese character, arms upper centre, one handsigned signature, printed Jackson signature, reverse orange, coat of arms at centre, (Pick 114), PMG 35EPQ. Consecutive to the previous lot. Never have such large sized HSBC $1 notes which are both awarded the EPQ status been offered as a consecutive pair.
