ARRATIVE AND CONCEPT OF THE WORK This piece celebrates true and unconditional love through Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, two of the most universal characters in popular culture. Their kiss sits at the heart of a vibrant composition, full of color, hearts, and references to contemporary art. The scene includes a reinterpretation of Banksy's iconic Flower Thrower, throwing a bouquet inspired by Van Gogh's famous Flowers. The gesture symbolically transforms the composition into a celebration: as if Mickey and Minnie have just married and the bouquet flies to celebrate their union. The repeated hearts over their faces, the overlays, the urban strokes, and the explosive color reinforce a simple and universal idea: love as a force capable of uniting different eras, styles, and icons.
