Historische bioscoop-reclameprojector met originele glasplaten

A remarkable historic projection installation for displaying advertising glass plates in cinemas. The collection consists of a metal projection lantern with a large projection lens, an original transport case, wooden holders with historic advertising glass plates, additional optics, and an original cabinelist from the Amsterdam advertising company Cloek en Moedigh N.V. The accompanying cabinelist is dated March 1, 1952 and originates from the Luxor Theater in Veenendaal. It lists the local advertisers whose advertising plates were shown during cinema screenings. One of the glass plates present advertises the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki. The installation shows signs of use and age, in keeping with its historical character. A special ensemble for collectors of cinematography, historic advertising, optical equipment, and Dutch cinema history. Functionality has not been established. The whole is offered in the condition as pictured.
