heuer carrera Military, Ref. 110-573, steel case 40 mm, NSA steel bracelet original Heuer vintage watch from 1974 made specifically for the armed forces of the People's Democratic Republic of Angola, called FAPLA. See engraving on the case back (a very rare piece, estimated production of about 200 units) The watch is in excellent condition, perfectly functional; all chronograph functions are ok. It has a beautiful guilloché blue dial with tritium indices; the hands are original as is the NSA bracelet made specifically for Heuer The automatic chronograph with micro-rotor Heuer Caliber 12. FAPLA refers to the People’s Armed Forces for Liberation of Angola (in Portuguese, “Forças Armadas Populares de Libertação de Angola” or “FAPLA”). They were the army of the Angolan nationalist liberation movement, from 1974 to 1991. FAPLA were formed by the guerrilla groups of the movement, on August 1, 1974.
