An original Hasselblad manual notes the Recharge Unit I as the standard charging device for the 500 EL/M. - Original Hasselblad external battery/charging holder – black, leatherette-covered holder in which two batteries can be placed. Hasselblad described this accessory specifically to charge batteries outside the camera.
