About the artist: Harleen is a self-taught artist, driven by drawing since her earliest childhood. Fate set her on the path of her passion when she crossed paths with major figures of her generation. Initially an assistant, she painted in the shadow of these renowned artists and participated in the creation of numerous exhibitions across Europe. Little by little, encouraged by those she admired, she dared to take the plunge: to give birth to her own artistic universe. In 2020, Harleen signed her first works under her own name, rich from all the experiences accumulated in the shadows. Her art? A vibrant mix of urban and pop influences. She draws inspiration from 90s graffiti, the streets that tell stories, and the icons who have shaped visual culture. Between pop art and street art, her creations burst with color, texture, and emotion. She paints instinctively, almost viscerally, letting her characters emerge as the thread of her daily inspiration guides. About the work: Each painting is made on 300 g cotton canvas. Harleen works in successive layers: acrylic, oil, soft pastels, spray paint—each texture bringing the raw emotion to life.
