Hanging lamp - Plastic, Glass, Metal

Elegant and distinctive pendant lamp, presumably Italian-made, dating from the 1970s, characterized by an original Space Age design. The chandelier features a wide dome-shaped shade in translucent lilac/lavender plastic, paired with a refined central cylindrical glass diffuser worked with a geometric motif, capable of creating evocative lighting effects. A distinctive element is the special adjustable suspension system, with the height adjustment mechanism housed inside a long fixed chromed cylindrical tube, completed by a characteristic amber-colored spiral cord. The combination of materials, shapes and colors recalls Italian design from the 1960s and 1970s, with evident Space Age and Modernist influences. A decorative object with great personality, ideal for vintage environments, mid-century modernism, lofts and contemporary interiors.
