Hanging lamp - Italian luxury ceiling lamp with a cascade of prisms

Suntuous ceiling chandelier of cascading stepped design, dated approximately in the 1970s. ​This piece stands out for its imposing two-body articulated structure and its sophisticated ornamental work in gold metal. The upper metal galleries feature an elegant geometric pierced pattern with settings of crystal medallions of the “bull’s eye” type, imparting a marked vintage high-end character. ​Design details: ​Metal Gallery: The upper and central bands are made of metal with a gold-plated finish [or polished brass], decorated with circular pierced motifs that house facet-cut crystal medallions. The Crystals: Arranged in multiple decreasing levels in cascade form, the rectangular plates of transparent crystal diffuse and reflect light spectacularly, creating a warm and sophisticated ambiance.
