Elegant vintage jewelry case in a classical Florentine/Renaissance style, dating to the mid-20th century (circa 1950s-1970s), inherited from grandmother and kept within the family. The piece is distinguished by the shape of its wavy, contoured edges and by the rich lid decoration, featuring refined scroll and laurel motifs in gold on a burl wood-effect background in amber-brown tones. The edges and base have a gold-finished raised relief with punched details typical of Italian artisanal craftsmanship of the era. The interior is fully lined in a beautiful bright green velvet, ideal for storing jewelry, watches, or small personal keepsakes. Measurements 34x24x12 Conditions: Good overall vintage condition.
