A solid hardwood freestanding three-light lamp with green fabric shade (55 cm) and round base (39 cm). Construction: H. Pander & Zonen. Marked on the underside. With factory plate and with stamp. Model number is also visible. The serial number or catalog number, in this case N 10797, was applied to register the model in the factory archive. H. Pander & Zonen was a Dutch furniture factory from 1855 to 1985. The factory had branches in The Hague, Amsterdam, and Rotterdam. After World War I a branch was opened in Rotterdam and Pander earned a good reputation for interior design. There were prominent designers on staff, such as Paul Bromberg, Henk Wouda, and later Fer Semey. Pander was also known for furnishing passenger ships. There is a hairline crack in a part of one ornament; see the last photo. Given the size of the lamp, it can only be picked up, near Rotterdam. NB: The lamp is not shipped or only delivered with a carrier (buyer pays costs).
