Title: The Reflection of Quiet Days Year: 2026 Medium / Technique: Original painting executed in oil on canvas. Style: Contemporary Figurative Art / Surreal Figurative. Dimensions: Canvas size: 75× 55 × 2 cm Signature: Signed by the artist lower right in paint. The artwork is also signed and dated. Edition Information: Unique original artwork. One-of-a-kind piece (not part of an edition). Description: A solitary figure, sheltered beneath an umbrella, stands quietly at the edge of a vivid reflective surface. Dressed in an oversized coat and striped stockings, the character inhabits a dreamlike space where reality and imagination gently merge. Executed in soft, earthy tones contrasted by vibrant reds, the composition evokes introspection, memory, and the quiet poetry of everyday moments. The ambiguity of the setting invites the viewer to construct their own narrative, transforming the scene into a deeply personal experience. Balancing figurative representation with subtle surreal elements, the artwork explores themes of solitude, contemplation, and emotional resilience. The expressive brushwork and atmospheric palette create a timeless visual language that speaks to both stillness and inner movement. Artist Bio: Artist: Gulnara Jafarova (Italian/Azeri, born 1986) Originally from Azerbaijan, I have lived and painted across Poland, the Czech Republic and Italy, carrying each place with me in the way I see light, space and human presence. My art is shaped by movement, memory and the gentle poetry of everyday life. I believe that an artwork doesn’t need to shout to be heard. Sometimes, a quiet gesture, a shared silence or a simple line can reveal more than words. Through my paintings, I invite viewers to pause, breathe, and find their own meaning in the spaces I leave open. Provenance: Acquired directly from the artist's studio. Condition: Excellent overall condition. The artwork is new and has been carefully preserved in the artist's studio. No visible damage, restorations, or imperfections. Shipping: The artwork will be carefully packaged using professional protective materials and shipped stretched and ready to hang. Tracking information will be provided after dispatch.
