o reserve price Magnificent green jadeite pearl bracelet, combined with small spheres of 18-karat yellow gold (the same material as its clasp, in the form of a smooth ball). Jadeite (the most valued jade) has been used to make jewelry pieces and ritual objects by the Aztecs, Mayans, and Olmecs. Throughout history, it has been very important in Chinese culture, where it symbolizes luck, eternity and balance. They also believe it has the ability to connect the living with the dead, or heaven with Earth, making it common in Chinese funerary and mystic rites.
