A RARE issue from the experimental pattern series of 1868, struck using the alloy that was later used to produce the Jamaica Penny and 1/2 Penny in 1869. Lightly patinated and approaching Gem state, the surfaces free of any major marks or detractions. Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500.
