Exceptional natural gold nugget of 1.7 grams, from the Yukon, with a unique organic, irregular, sculptural shape. An authentic fragment of the Last Frontier, just as nature formed it. The rarity of natural nuggets The vast majority of gold circulating in the world has been refined, melted and transformed into ingots, coins or jewelry. Natural gold nuggets represent a minuscule fraction of the gold that exists. They are geologic pieces unique, impossible to replicate, and each one is irreproducible. Whoever possesses a natural nugget does not merely own gold: they own an original work of nature that no one else in the world will ever possess. Gold as a store of value throughout history For more than 5,000 years, gold has been the real asset par excellence. Pharaohs, emperors and kings treasured it as a symbol of power. While fiat currencies have continuously lost purchasing power, gold has preserved its value through wars, economic crises, hyperinflations, and changes in the monetary system. Since 1971, the year the dollar ceased to be convertible into gold, the U.S. currency has lost about 87% of its purchasing power. Central banks betting on gold Today it is the financial institutions themselves that trust gold the most. Central banks have been buying for more than fifteen consecutive years: between 2022 and 2024 they acquired more than 1,000 tons each year, an unprecedented pace since records began, and in the second quarter of 2026 they bought 289 tons, a record for that period. According to the European Central Bank, by the end of 2025 gold already accounted for 27% of the reserves of central banks around the world and, for the first time since 1996, surpassed U.S. Treasuries. In January 2026, the price per ounce of gold reached its all-time high. An uncertain world We live in times of geopolitical instability, wars and the constant loss of purchasing power of currencies. Global debt reached a record nearly $353 trillion in the first quarter of 2026. In this context, physical gold—especially in its natural form and high purity—continues to be regarded by many as a tangible and durable refuge: it does not depend on any government, cannot be printed, and has withstood all empires. Owning a gold nugget is to safeguard a piece of history and nature that has endured the test of time. A privilege reserved for a few, and a legacy that can pass from generation to generation. Symbolism Since antiquity, gold has been associated with the sun, prosperity, success and abundance. Many cultures have regarded it as a protective talisman and a symbol of distinction for those who know how to recognize what is authentic.
