Gogmagog Press.- Cox (Morris) Original blocks for 'Crash!, An Experiment in Block-Making and Printing', 6 (of 8) blocks using a variety of techniques including shattered glass pieces mounted on board for opening sun print, c.155 x 245mm., each preserved in card folder, together in cardboard box, 1963; Original linocut for double-page title to 'A Mediaeval Dream Book', c.230 x 235mm., 1963; 23 original linocuts for the 20 prints for 'A Feminity of Nudes', several with added leaves, netting, gesso etc., c.385 x 260mm., 1979-80, [Chambers 11, 9 & 32]; and a small quantity of other linocuts and printing blocks for various works, many with added textures, v.s. (a box) *** Cox notes in his foreword to 'Crash!', " This little book utilises a series of blocks made from odds and ends of waste material, printed on a home-made press. They prove nothing except that it might still be possible for a dedicated hand printer to remain in essence at the incunabula level and start advancing again from there, particularly in the field of illustration".
