GERO - Karl Dittert - Cutlery set for 6 (49) - Rhapsode (265) - Silverplated

Gero has a model with a distinct history. The model was designed around 1960 by Karl Dittert for the German silverware factory Bruckmann & Söhne from Heilbronn. When Gero took over this factory, they brought the molds to the Netherlands and added the model as Model 265 Rapsode to their own collection. The style breaks with the classic models and is a good example of minimalist lines without frills, fitting the functional design trends of the 60s and 70s. The set is executed in plate 100, the common heavy silver-plating of that time. The case is original from Gero and in good (used) condition, as is the cutlery itself.
