PREUSSEN around the bust to the right; mint mark A below the neck. Silver 3 Mark coin featuring Wilhelm II to the right, with a sober, naturalistic stroke, highlighting the characteristic mustache and a clean modeling of the profile. The reverse shows the German imperial eagle in a heraldic, robust design, with good definition in the wings, crown, and central shield. A representative issue of the German Empire in the late Wilhelmine period, reflecting the symbolic assertion of imperial power in the years leading up to World War II.
