Very attractive original 1975 Japanese pressing of George Harrison's Extra Texture (Read All About It), housed in the distinctive textured orange die-cut sleeve. This album holds an important place in Harrison's solo catalogue as his final album released through Apple Records, marking the end of his original Apple-era studio output before he moved to Dark Horse Records. The record features a notably soulful character, with distinguished musicians including Leon Russell, Jim Keltner, Jesse Ed Davis and David Foster contributing to the sessions. The Japanese EAS-80355 edition is especially desirable when complete, as this copy is, retaining the elaborate original presentation with the original ¥2,500 OBI, original textured die-cut sleeve, original printed inner sleeve, and original Japanese lyric insert all present and well preserved. ⸻ Sleeve (EX): Very clean and attractive textured sleeve in excellent condition. The unusual die-cut construction remains strong and intact, with only some light corner wear consistent with careful handling. The original OBI is beautifully preserved with bright colour and no significant wear → EX Insert / Inner: Original printed inner sleeve and original Japanese lyric insert both included and in excellent condition. OBI: Original ¥2,500 OBI present and beautifully preserved. Vinyl (EX): Very glossy and well-preserved vinyl throughout. There is one superficial mark on Side 1, otherwise entirely clean with no significant issues.
