Todas las subastas / Arte contemporáneo / Gaby Acevedo - Mundo Onírico - Tavaria (XL)
“Tavaria” is a unique and original abstract work from my series “Dream World,” a universe of imagined places that have no fixed location, yet can be freely explored by each viewer. In this piece I work with shapes, planes, and color layers that relate to one another to build a space of its own, open to different interpretations. Painted entirely by hand with acrylics on canvas, “Tavaria” is part of this map of territories that exist only within the painting. Details of the work: • "Dream World - Tavaria" is a contemporary abstract, unique and original piece, fully hand-made with professional acrylic on cotton canvas. • Dimensions of the work: 100 cm × 100 cm. • Created directly in my studio. • Canvas size: The canvas measures approximately 110 cm × 110 cm, including the margin necessary for its new mounting on a 100 cm × 100 cm × 2 cm stretcher (approximately). • Finish and protection: The work is protected with a professional satin varnish, which preserves the intensity of the colors and guarantees its conservation over time. • Unique and original work: Painted entirely by hand, signed and dated on the back by visual artist Gaby Acevedo, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Presentation: • The work has been created on a canvas previously stretched on a frame. To ensure secure transport, it is carefully shipped rolled in a high-strength rigid tube. The edges are painted as a continuation of the composition and the canvas preserves the margin necessary for its new mounting on a frame. • The work does not include a frame or decorative surround. • For an optimal finish, it is recommended that mounting be carried out by a professional. Shipping: • The work is carefully shipped rolled in a high-strength rigid tube. • Insured shipping with tracking number. • Includes certificate of authenticity. • Shipments to Canary Islands (Spain): €48. Additional information: Colors and tones may vary slightly depending on each screen’s settings. Ambient images are digital representations for illustration purposes and show a possible presentation of the work once mounted or framed. About the artist: My name is Gaby Acevedo. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my works in Spain. For more than 25 years I have developed an artistic practice centered on contemporary abstract painting, where color, matter, and collage constitute the pillars of my visual language. My work arises from observation and dialogue with landscapes, the spaces we inhabit, and the traces they leave in our memory. Each series responds to a different inquiry, but all share the aim of transforming experience into a visual language open to emotion and free interpretation. Each work is unique and is entirely handmade in my studio with professional, high-quality materials. All my paintings are signed, dated, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
