“Argiur” is part of my Sea Series and was born from a measured observation of the Mediterranean on a bright day, when the light passes through the landscape and makes it more habitable. In this work I propose a territory where the gaze can pause and adopt a slower rhythm. “Argiur” seeks to convey that calm, clear clarity that appears in front of the sea, when the horizon expands and the air seems to remain silent. It is a piece that invites staying and inhabiting a moment of calm and contemplation. Details of the work: • "Argiur - Sea" is a contemporary abstract work, unique and original, entirely handmade with professional acrylic on cotton canvas. • Dimensions of the work: 110 cm × 25 cm. • Created directly in my studio. • Canvas size: The unstretched canvas measures approximately 120 cm × 35 cm, including the margin necessary for mounting on a 110 cm × 25 cm × 2 cm stretcher (approximately) or to be framed according to your preferences. • Finish and protection: The work is protected with a professional satin varnish, which preserves the intensity of the colors and guarantees its preservation over time. • Unique and original work: Painted entirely by hand, signed and dated on the back by visual artist Gaby Acevedo, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. About the artist: My name is Gaby Acevedo. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my works in Spain. For more than 25 years I have developed an artistic practice focused on contemporary abstract painting, where color, matter, and collage are the pillars of my visual language. My work arises from observation and dialogue with landscapes, the spaces we inhabit, and the traces they leave in our memory. Each series responds to a different investigation, but all share the goal of transforming experience into a visual language open to emotion and free interpretation.
