Artist information: Originating from Southern Finistère, Frédéric CADIOU draws inspiration from Breton landscapes, deeply rooted in light and horizon. His works capture suspended moments where nature dialogues with human perception. Projected shadows, elongated lines, minimalist compositions: each painting reveals a subtle tension between depth and minimalism. Through a mastered palette and pronounced contrasts, the artist creates calm, almost meditative atmospheres. The gaze is guided toward the horizon, between silence, space, and contemplation. A painting where light structures the landscape and where shadow becomes language. The current Akoun appraisal for Frédéric Cadiou is €1350 for a 15P format (65x50 cm). In 2026, Frédéric Cadiou has been selected to represent Artmajeur at the Vivatech 2026 fair, the largest European innovation fair in Paris. Next exhibition: see the artist’s website.
