Lotto consisting of 4 500 ml ceramic jars of Extra Virgin Olive Oil produced by FRANTOIO MURAGLIA - PUGLIA - ITALY. Frantoio Muraglia was born in Andria, the capital of Apulian olive oil, five generations ago, but the patriarch of the Primavera family counts 450. It is a majestic Coratina olive tree, an indigenous cultivar armed with polyphenols like few among the 538 classified Italian varieties. Our history as olive mills begins with this green giant that dominates our countryside on the Murgia plateau, a stretch of about 40 hectares of olives. We continue harvesting olives by hand and pressing them cold in the ancient stone mill. The jars are from the POP ART series and are named: ARAGOSTA, FICO D'INDIA, SARDINE, POLPO. The POP ART collection jars, entirely handmade by Apulian artisans, are true design objects that lead straight to the colors of the land and sea of Puglia. Colorful marine pop elements: vivid tones and matte finishes personalize octopuses and fish that flash across the white ceramic, highlighting the purity and artisanal perfection; pastel marbling, instead, becomes glossy iridescences of the rainbow – Frantoio Muraglia’s distinctive iconography – that dive into the sea to personalize very colorful octopuses and return to land, warming the prickly pears.
