France 1849/1975 - FRANCE 1849-1975 Yvert & Tellier: Cérès to Arphila 75

There are collections that read like a history book: this one tells the story of France through its stamps, from the Ceres of 1849 to the Arphila 75 exhibition block, including the Sage, the Semeuses, the 1930s series, the Liberation issues, and the great wave of “artistic” stamps of the sixties. About 1700 stamps, most of them unmounted. Yvert & Tellier albums with a green Greek frame, screw binding, pre-printed leaves with a box per stamp, Yvert number and shade label. The stamps are affixed by hinge. The empty boxes indicate exactly what is missing, which makes it easier to continue the collection.
