The surface shows a splendid and authentic craquelure and a rich patina of time. Conditions: Good period-conservation condition. The gilding shows the natural wear of time, with small losses and visible brunings that attest to its authenticity and age (please carefully examine the attached photographs which are an integral part of the description). Structurally solid. Historical and artistic notes: Salvator Rosa-style moulded frames take their name from the famous Baroque painter and continue to be among the most sought-after by collectors and antiques worldwide for their extraordinary, rigorous, and timeless elegance. A piece of high antiquarian value, ideal for framing an era artwork or for enriching a high-end interior.
