FOURNIER (Jean-Claude). Cider for the Stars. - Lot 101

FOURNIER (Jean-Claude). Cider for the Stars. Marcinelle, Dupuis, 1975. In-4, publisher’s illustrated cardboard binding, yellow printed spine. First edition, bearing the copyright 1975 and the legal deposit number D. 1975/0089/120. Twenty-sixth volume of The Adventures of Spirou and Fantasio. Inside front cover listing twenty-five other volumes and featuring five covers, up to *The Gri-gri of Niokolo-Koba*. ISBN: 2-8001-0462-7. A story by Fournier combining extraterrestrial visitors, the Count of Champignac’s research, and humor centered on cider. The lamination on the covers shows signs of scuffing and scratches, particularly on the back cover; corners and edges are slightly worn. Pages are clean and slightly cream-colored; the spine is slightly gouged at the beginning of the volume. A good, well-used copy.
