This group of four clear glass items is executed in the American Brilliant Period style, characteristic of high-lead crystal produced between 1876 and 1917. The collection includes a shallow four-footed bowl, a round dish, and two knife rests. The four-footed bowl features a scalloped saw-tooth rim and a complex central star pattern composed of strawberry diamond and fine cross-hatching motifs. It rests on four integral, plain curved feet. The round dish is decorated with a large central star and deep radiating mitre cuts, finished with a perimeter of circular thumbprint or olive cuts interspersed with smaller stars. The two dumbbell-shaped knife rests feature large star-cut faceted ends; one rest has a smooth octagonal shank while the other features a notched or textured shank. All pieces are crafted from high-quality crystal, exhibiting high clarity and spectral highlights on the faceted edges. The cutting is characterized by deep, precise mitre lines and professional-grade geometric patterns. No maker marks, signatures, or factory etchings were identified upon inspection.
