Foscarini - Diesel Creative Team - Hanging lamp - Rock - Metal, Polycarbonate

A powerful, sculptural pendant light in which light and shadow are used as expressive elements. Designed by Diesel Creative Team for Foscarini, the Rock carries a pronounced, raw character. The design breathes the same energy and directness as the fashion- and music-culture that inspires Diesel: graphic, bold and unmistakably present. The lamp is characterized by an irregular, faceted outer structure that resembles volcanic rock, opposite a high-gloss interior with an almost crystalline appearance. When the Rock is lit, the interior becomes a lively light landscape: the many facets intensify and fracture the light, creating an intense and layered glow that subtly changes with the viewing angle. The tension between the rough outer form and the refined interior forms the core of the design. The Foscarini Rock functions as a pronounced, almost architectural statement. Above a dining table or as a central focal point in a living space, loft or hospitality setting, it defines the space below and adds character to both industrial and modern interiors. Even in minimalist or eclectic settings, the Rock remains a deliberately chosen accent, where form, material and light come together.
