Follower of Carlo Maratti Our Lady of Mercy

oil on canvas, 50 x 40cm; framed 62 x 52cm, Condition Report, Condition Report, Late 18th century. Craquelure. The work has been executed on a coarse weave canvas that appears to have been relined. A little thinning to the paint in areas. Examined under UV light there is some very light fluorescing to the dress in places and it is possible that some subtle restoration has been undertaken. In our opinion the work presents well overall when viewed on the wall. Please see additional condition images. Request A Condition Report, Request A Condition Report
