Flying Burrito Bros

During the later period when Hillman led The Flying Burrito Brothers, he brought top musicians from the bluegrass scene into the band, including fiddler Byron Berline and bassist Roger Bush. When Hillman left the Burritos in late 1971, the remaining musicians still had to fulfill contractual touring obligations in Europe. Led by Byron Berline and joined by Alan Munde, they formed the core of what officially became Country Gazette during that European tour.
