The Parentesi lamp is an icon of Italian design: a visual and functional tension between floor and ceiling, thanks to a steel cable spanning between ceiling and floor (usable length 4000 mm) on which a shaped steel tubular runs, painted black or nickel-plated. The head of the fixture, molded in black injection-elastomer, is orientable and slides along the cable, offering maximum flexibility of use. In the dimmable version, an electronic dimmer is mounted on the cable, allowing stepped adjustment of light intensity. This piece perfectly fuses aesthetics, function, and technology — a masterpiece signed Castiglioni & Manzù — and is produced by Flos, a leading company in lighting made in Italy.
