Mazda Capella - 626 Coupé 1970 In Europe this model is known as the Mazda 626. This Mazda mid-size car, first generation, was produced by Mazda from 1970 to 1978. It was the competitor of the Honda Accord, Toyota Corona and Nissan Bluebird. The four-cylinder SOHC engines with 1.5 or 1.6 liters displacement delivered 92 or 100 hp with a torque of 144 Nm. These first models had rectangular headlights, while from 1971 the models with the rotary engine received double headlights.
